Every criminal case has costs. What you will have to pay will depend on whether you intend on fighting the case after a comprehensive discussion with your attorney to explore all your options. If you fight your case and win, your lawyer's fee is all you will have to pay. If you fight and lose or plead guilty, fines and fees imposed by the court can be substantial, but are usually allowed to be paid over time. The fines and fees levied by the court as part of a disposition are set by statute and can be stayed or waived in certain circumstances.

A third cost is restitution to be paid to any alleged victims. Restitution can be challenged if an alleged victim is claiming an amount seemingly unrelated to the level of damage or harm caused. This is often referred to in lawyer-speak as a Cervantes hearing after the name of the case that established the right to a hearing on restitution.
Attorney's fees will vary depending on the seriousness and complexity of the case. In all cases, David Wilton's fees are competitive. He accepts credit cards in office and over the phone. In rare instances, PayPal may be used. Of course, cash and checks are accepted. A period of time may be required to allow a check to clear the bank.
